Creamy pepper steak
1 kg rump/fillet steak cut up in pieces ½ tsp salt 2 tsp ginger garlic 1 tsp black pepper 2 tab worcester sauce 1 tsp steak and chops spice 1 tsp bbq spice 3 tab lemon juice 1 cup cream.
*marinate steak in above except cream and cook with butter/ghee on stove in pot on low till tender. When steak is done and water is burnt out, add the cream mix well with steak and switch stove off. Cream will thicken on its own. Serve with chips, veggies, pitas, whatever you desire.
Wimpy Steak.1kg fillet steak stripped marinate wid 11/2 tsp salt 1tsp blk pepper 1/2 tsp each of ina paarmans lemon,garlic and chili garlic pepper 1 tsp garlic lemon juice 2 tsp worcester sauce 1 tsp gorimas chiLie paste.In a non stick pot add olive oil and ghee and stirfry steak till nycly browned then add sliced green peppers 1 onion sliced and chopped green chiLlies stirfry on high for 5 mins den add 1 curry spoon wimpy chiLlie sauce and 1 curry spoon tomato sauce. Cook for 5 mins and transfer to platter serve wid chips and french polony and chillie russians from desais. Toast bread in electric grill wid lines and cut into triangles and serve Enjoy?
MASALA STEAK FOR BRAAI Ingredients:30ml oil2 onions - sliced2 tomatoes - chopped2 tsp crushed ginger2 tsp crushed garlic2 ml arad2 tsp steak masala1 kg rump steak - cut into 10cm pieces1 tsp salt Method:- Heat oil and braise onions until brown.- Add tomatoes, ginger, garlic, arad and masala and cook for about 15 minutes.- Add steak and salt and cook over medium heat until steak is tender - about 30 minutes.- Serve with chips and salad.
1 kg rump sliced 1cm thick 1 tblsp of steak n chops 1 tblsp BBQ spice Tsp of garlic 2 tbslp paprika 3-4 tblsp mochachoes or Mexican spice Tsp of black pepper Mix the spices with vinegar n abit of oil n stir fry steak in a hot pan without oil Keep steak aside use the leftover masala add nandos or any prego sauce with 125ml fresh cream simmer n pour over steak
Steak Roast 1 whole fillet Salt 1t crushed garlic 2t steak-pepper spice from Gorima's- may need 2 crush further 1t Ground green chillies 2t lemon pepper 2T Nando's Garlic sauce 4T Nando's Pepper Sauce 2T lemon juice Marinate fillet overnight in this Heat ghee and add steak and brown on all sides, add a bit of water and cook until done
Sauce 1/2 cup fresh cream 2T pepper sauce 2T butter Boil tog a little Pour over before serving
Deep fry baby potatoes and onions or roast in oven and add 2 the roast and serve all together or seperately
1kg minute steak or rump steak 0.5tsp white pepper 0.5tsp black pepper 1tsp chilli powder 2 tsp steak and chops spice 1 tsp salt 4 Tbsp tomato sauce 4 Tblspn mustard sauce 2Tbsp garlic sauce 0.5 cup chilli sauce 2Tbsp mayonaise 4 tbsp yoghurt (optional)
Combine sauces and mayonaise and marinate the steak. Leave Overnight or at least 3 hours. Transfer steak to a pan and cook on low heat till tender. Add water if necessary.
Steak Stir Fry
Half kg steak cut into strips, 2 tblsp oil, 1tsp garlic, 1tsp red chillies, 1tsp lemon peper, 1tsp crushd jeera, 1tsp salt, 1tsp bbq spice, 1tsp steak/chop spice n 2tblsp vinegar Marinate whole day. Then in pot add garlic butter n let steak cook till soft. Burn all water then add 2 tblsp crystals peri sauce, worster sauce, 2tbls mayo, 3-4 tblsp tomato sauce till nyc n saucy saute green,red, yellow pepers strips in frypan as well as onion rings n throw in steak.Opitional add vienna cut into rounds n polony cut into pieces n fryd separate in ghee n add to steak. Serve with Chip- also can use in roll or sandwich with cheese. Divine:)
Mexican Steak. 500g fillet steak. 1 tbls oil/ghee.3 tbls mayo.1 1/2 tsp coriander chutney. 1 tsp lemon juice.1 heaped tsp red ginger garlic masala.1/4 tsp white pepper.1/2 tsp ground green chillies.1/2 salt.1/4 tsp lemon pepper.1/4 tsp dhana jeero.1/2 ts p steak n chops spice.1/2 onion sliced into rings.1/2 green pepper sliced into rings.1/4 cubed tomatoe.2 whole green chillies slit in halves (optional). Paprika for sprinkling.Chopped green dhania.Feta cheese for sprinkling.Combine spices together n marinade d steak. Cook in ghee/oil over medium heat. Add onions, pepper, tomatoes n chillies to halfway cooked steak, sprinkle paprika over, allow to cook until done. Garnish wit green dhania n feta cheese.
Mohideens steak.1/2 kg rump thinly sliced into pieces.Marinate wid 1 tsp salt 1 tsp lemon pepper 1tsp garlic 1/2 tsp hyder 1 tsp crushed red chillies 1 tsp chilliepowder lemon juice 1 tsp worcester sauce 1 tab mustard sauce 1 tab steers peri peri. 2 tab crystal man sauce. Cook wid ghee till done.Fry garlic polony viennas,sausages and salami. Add all this to pot of steak and toss well into steak. Fry fresh potato chips add salt vinegar and chillie powder and sum tomatoe sauce. Line flat cake boxes wid lunch paper spoon steak mix on one side of box add chips alongside and serve. Nando's steak
1 KG FILLET STEAK – BUTTERFLIED Marinate with: 1 ½ tsp salt 1 tsp lemon pepper 2 tsp garlic Some Lemon juice 2 tsp Worcester sauce 1 tsp crushed green chillies ¼ cup Steers Garlic sauce ¼ cup Nandos lemon n herb peri peri sauce Marinate for 2 – 3 hours. Add olive oil and ghee to a non stick pot or frying pan. Place steak and cook until done. SAUCE 250 ml fresh cream Any pepper sauce of choice - Nandos, Steers etc.. 1 punnet cut up mushrooms Salt and pepper Boil on stove for a few minutes till done. Pour over cooked steak. Sprinkle chopped dhania and slice green pepper to garnish. Add potatoes wedges on the side. Serve with garlic rolls
