hi all! some tips.
Don’t waste Nutella: How many times have you gotten to the bottom of a Nutella and found it hard to throw away those last, unobtainable pieces? The best way to get the most out of your Nutella is to add a cup of warm milk to the jar, put the lid on shake. Instant hot chocolate, anyone?
No more tears: One of the worst things when it comes to preparing food is the sting from onions when you cut them. To help stop this, refrigerate onions for 15 to 20 minutes before cutting. Also, run your hands under cold water to have added effect.
Fresh lettuce: With lettuce, moisture is the enemy. The more you have building up on the lettuce the quicker the mould will grow. To stop this, store your lettuce in resealable bags with a piece of paper towel thrown in with it. The paper towel will absorb all the moisture, leaving fresh, crisp lettuce.
Keep avocados green: The easiest way to keep your avocado halves fresh and green is to store them with an onion. The onion stops oxidisation, saving the colour of the avocado. Adding a splash of apple cider vinegar also helps maintain it.
