These homemade Energy Bars are a great addition to school lunch boxes. They're packed with nuts and seeds which are natural energy boosters. Perfect for healthy, growing children!
Ingredients:25g butter or margarine60ml Illovo Traditional Syrup50g pitted dates, chopped75g sesame seeds75g sunflower seeds75g Brazil nuts, chopped
- Grease a baking tray.
- Melt butter and add syrup, stirring until boiling.
- Stir in dates thoroughly to a smooth mixture.
- Add in seeds and nuts and turn into prepared baking tray.
- Refrigerate until firm enough to slice into bars. Store in fridge.
