SATS ( State Akin to Sleep ) What I've found out off late is...

SATS ( State Akin to Sleep )

What I've found out off late is that THIS STUFF becomes silly easy once you REALLY are in state akin to sleep

Making Then/NOW is so EASY and so is making there /HERE when you are in deep SATS and you are in control of your attention

To get really good at this FAST take the time out every hour and just let yourself drop into SATS all it takes is just 10 mins and in a week or 2 you'll be nailing it!!

Everything is so much easier once you are there?

another one I would get in the habit of practicing everyday, on it's own... the one Nevile practiced everyday..

making there here and then now in familiar places.. places you already frequent everyday

this will make as big a difference as nailing sats

How about the I AM meditation? I remember you don't do it without setting an intent, right?

with conditioning it at the end.. which yes.. that is an intention

Aren't we doing that already with FIR sessions? Imagining there as here and then as now, cos I do x

yes.. but like Neville practice it on it's own everyday too..

there is a difference between practicing it.. and using it in a session..

practice is where you really dial in "perceiving from".. to where it is super easy and no question in a session

there's a reason that Neville practiced it everyday for decades

That's the other one I've been doing, there here and then now. Just taking 5-10 minutes and "visiting" someplace via my session, feeling myself there and walking around etc. I notice since I've been doing that deliberately that "feeling that I'm in a scene" just comes so easily.

exactly... and for practice I would stick with familiar places.. places you frequent all the time already..

so as not plant an inadvertent seed like Neville oops, I HAVE to go to Barbados now

This morning I was going into the question of my next home-apartment and almost as soon as I felt the question "what does it feel like to be there?" I FELT like I was standing at the door and had, for the first time, a sense of where everything is spatially etc in this place that I've never seen or visited etc (where my things are and where the different rooms are in relation to each other etc) and could do a "walkthru" although VISUALLY it wasn't clear. But I FELT like I was there.

yes.. that "spatially"... Neville had a cool term for it.. "cubic reality"

Ok, so I'm meant to imagine there here in familiar places every day? Why do we do that?

So that this all gets easier. It's a practice.

to practice making there here.. and PERCEIVING FROM... why?..

what works is perceiving from... that is what you are doing when you are feeling that the wish has already been fulfilled

you are feeling/ perceiving FROM the wish fulfilled

Here while writing this I can even put myself in the cafe my son and I go to in a Saturday, see me talking to him and eating chips, asking does he want ketchup ? I can even taste the cappuccino, I find it easy. I assume that's good then? X

I'm pretty good at it too.. really vivid in all senses.. yet I practice it everyday still

Neville did too from the time Abdullah told him to start practicing it everyday, until he left here

these are the basic skills..

you want to keep them sharp... you practice them, stand alone everyday

if not.. they usually slip, get contaminated... then you have to get it all dialed back in

me.. I learned long ago to keep them dialed in.. keep refining them... keep exploring them...

you will never outgrow practicing/ exploring the basic skills.. no matter how good you think you are

as a matter of fact... the better you are.. the more you will find to practice and explore there

greg5676 Implementing this immediately!

This is also something I've been doing a ton of, since December, because of the very reasons Greg mentioned. I am astounded at how much more vivid all 5 senses have become, just from this one exercise. Pretty fun, too.

Ok ?

Amber, I can relate a bit to the sensory thing?a fb friend shared a photo of food felt like I COULD almost literally taste it ?

Greg Makovich I was never aware before of this, about practicing daily there here etc THANKYOU ?

What is the I AM session again?

jennifer92168 go read the first 6 chaps of Neville's 'Your Faith is Your Fortune' they are short and will tell you what is I AM session is

Where can I find them?

on the internet??

have you tried this thing called Google??

Here are all his books in PDF format http://nevillegoddardpdf.com/

Hush lol so I have to buy the book first? I thought it might be one of the many links on twenty46004 pages

Thank you ?

Jennifer.... in the pinned post at the top is a link for the 'core lectures'... I would begin diving into those over and over

how would you feel if you KNEW you have already been nailing sats.. every time.. quickly. easily, instantly?

Ease and flow

is that answer from thinking about it how it might feel?...

or going in and discovering it by either sincerely asking... or exploring what it would be like?

Thank you.. fab idea!!!

now if folks are really interested in nailing this in the shortest amount of time.. instead of doing it every hour I will give you something backed by nearly a century of testing..

first apply the tools like I suggested above

then instead of every hour.. do it 2 to 3 times a day.. but use what hypnotist Dave Elman discovered a long long time ago and named "fractionation"

this is where you get fully into sats.. then come back out, open your eyes.. then close your eyes and go right back in

each time you come out and go right back in.. two things happen

1-.. you go faster...

2- you go deeper

so.. you quickly get the feeling of getting fully into sats quicker and deeper

so go in.. come out, go in, come out.. go in, come out..

3, 4 5 times in a row

even if it takes 10 minutes the first time.. each successive time you go right back in will be much less

doing this 2 or 3 times a day... along with applying the tools like suggested above.. will be the shortest path to nailing this

Notice - this helps you NAIL - - - MOVING!

Mastering Moving - into SATS..... and mastering MOVING into the state of your wish fulfilled..... BOTH ARE FUN!

CONTRAST that with the WAR of "must make sure nobody knocks me out of my state...." or "I have kids, how can I do sats with them around"?

Elman seems to have had HEAPS of fun - exploring and experimenting.....

(Sound familiar? We keep saying to do THAT)??

if you want to go into STATE akin to sleep.. it's the same.. that is the wish.. you move into state akin to sleep...

same with any other wish fulfilled..

feel as though you already are

Wow. I've done this a couple times and didn't realize it was a "method." Snap my eyes open and then go right back in.

I'll refine based on what you posted, Greg... thanks.

yes... if you aren't quite getting there.. come back out.. then go right back in.. do this a few times and you will go deeper every time..

I call passing it on a tribute to one of Elman's student.. a man.. an absolute legend in the hypnosis world that passed on a couple days agao, Gerald Kein.

greg5676, I do this all the time, going in to SATS, opening my eyes & going back in. A question, each time we go back in, can we be imagining a new scene?

I wouldn't... when I "switch" scenes...

I come out for a few..

but you are free to test it both ways

now.. on fractionation... it is more about getting into sats, fast and easy

not about doing a session.. coming out and right back in

this is getting into sats..

once in sats then do your scene/ session

That's how Iearned it, thanks to Greg. Took me a 3-4 days to get to the point where I could get into the state within a few seconds. Of course I wasn't doing sessions, just practicing getting into SATS.

That's what I meant greg5676, going in to SATS, doing a session, then coming out, going back in & doing another session. That's how I often do it.

fractionation is for nailing sats... getting to the point where you can get fully into it instantly or very very quickly

where it came from Elman... in his day.. folks might have many sessions learning to relax deeper and deeper.. before they ever got into a "working level of hypnosis"

what they found was maybe up to 20 sessions before they had someone trained to go into hypnosis

well Elman thought.. why do we have to send them home.. come back over and over

what would happen if I took them in, brought them out, took them right back in, brought them out etc

and he found it worked... and fast... in one session, he could just start taking them in and out.. and usually within 3 -5 times doing that, he'd have them in what was considered the 'working level of hypnosis'

This is awesome, Greg. Always looking to improve upon these skills and will be implementing fractionation today! Thank you!

How long we should typically stay in SAT in our daily practice sessions greg5676? Let's say we do 3 SATs in a row. How long we should stay in one attempt out of those three?

it doesn't have to be long at all. It's practice getting there quickly, easily cleanly

3 sats in a row?... if you are trying to fit the 2-3 times a day..

then do 2-3 times a day... not in a row if nothing else.. do one in the morning and one in the evening

I meant this greg5676 " now if folks are really interested in nailing this in the shortest amount of time.. instead of doing it every hour I will give you something backed by nearly a century of testing..

first apply the tools like I suggested above

then instead of every hour.. do it 2 to 3 times a day.. but use what hypnotist Dave Elman discovered a long long time ago and named "fractionation"

even if it takes 10 minutes the first time.. each successive time you go right back in will be much less

doing this 2 or 3 times a day... along with applying the tools like suggested above.. will be the shortest path to nailing this"

well it is any many times in a row till you know you're there..

usually 2, 3,... 5 or 6 times in a row will be all it takes...

you go to where you usually do.. come back up.. go right back in knowing you will go faster and deeper this time

if it takes 10 minutes the first time.. it's not going to take anywhere near that the next times in this fractionation

so the first time in the cycle.. get in.. take no more than ten minute MAX... if you are already getting there much quicker than that...good

just get there.. then come back out, knowing next time you will go right back in much much faster and deeper

then come out.. close your eyes right down and quickly go right back down.. once you feel that you are there and even deeper a bit...

do it again... in 3, 4, 5 times.. you will find you are right down at the edge of sleep and went there FAST

that's all this is about... once you are.. feel as though you have been nailing this if you want... and done

Wow...brilliant. Did a test run in the morning with your suggestions. I'll do my next SAT session with the great tips you just gave. Thanks greg5676 Appriciate very much.

another route you can do.. it will work just as well because of fractionation...

just take a few minutes.. get into sats or as close as you do..

knowing that your going to come back out and right back in.. knowing you will go faster and deeper this time..

then do that... maybe a minute..

repeat again... 30 seconds...

then again.. and again until you KNOW you're there

Right. Will try both & see which works best greg5676 ?

SATS are when your in that relaxed sleepy state right?

Thought so just checking:)

Does Silva Method of Counting Backwards from 50 to 0 also work in this case.. Or 10 to 0?

here's what works easiest...

The highest tide compatible with the conscious direction of our thoughts occurs just before we fall asleep and just after we wake. An easy way to create this passive state is to relax in a comfortable chair or on a bed. Close your eyes and imagine that you are sleepy, so sleepy, so very sleepy. Act precisely as though you were going to take a siesta. In so doing, you allow the subconscious tide to rise to sufficient height to make your particular assumption effective.

also.. read through this thread... I gave several proven methods that are very different than how most approach this

Does marijuana take you into the sats

you don't need any 'aid' to get into sats...

if you use a crutch like that for very long... then anytime you don't have or can't use your 'crutch' your limited

it's easy to master intentionally dropping into sats instantly, any time, any place

Agreed. The two things that have accelerated my sessions have been doing state akin to sleep, and doing just I AM sessions. I concentrated on just those two things for a month or so and it really made me feel different.

I had the same experience, max207. These two have really cranked things up!

I just realized something. There's "I AM" and then with remember when it's "I WAS" which leads to "I now AM..."

I find it easy to imagine myself elsewhere ?

Can you explain the I am sessions please

one of the best sources is this book, the first about 5 chapters will get you going...

remember it's not the words.. you don't even need the words...

it's the idea behind the words.. that unconditioned faceless formless awareness that is I am..

Are you saying drop in sats every hour? Did I read it wrong?

I assure you.. what I wrote on fractionation will work faster and take less time

What is fractionation method?

Making there here..like perceiving this room from another?

another one I would get in the habit of practicing everyday, on it's own... the one Nevile practiced everyday..

making there here and then now in familiar places.. places you already frequent everyday

this will make as big a difference as nailing sats

^^^^ is this fractionation?

read the threads... it's 4 comments above yours

the one that starts "now if folks are really..."

I work with little kids then do admin on them so I have to be constantly on hyper alert multi task mode ?Can't do every hour. CAN do several times a day.

read my comment above that starts with "now if folks are really interested "... that will work faster than doing it every hour anyways

I think I could do that! I'm studying (well, self-studying) hypnosis & I kinda do know what fractionation is actually & parts of how to do it! From my hypno mentor & from doing a little Gonna read that post of yours again ooh!!

it's simple stuff.. you got it

That also felt great cos like I said hypnosis is part of what I am manifesting doing in my career - I have a passion for it! Gonna check your reply again

you asked about sats... read all the comments in this thread

and this is how Neville taught getting into sats.. it's fast, easy and simple....

remember sats.. the state akin to sleep. is assumed like any other state

and it is natural.. you already do this all the time.. two obvious times are waking up and falling asleep

it is just that drowsy mentally relaxed state on the edge pf or close to sleep....

" how Neville taught getting into the state akin to sleep from "radio lectures"

This is indeed very easy in sats... Everything comes so easy and i have 100% conviction that i am now what i desire while in sats...but what to do the rest of day?

Sometimes the desire comes in mind the rest of day and its hard to have the same 100% belief at that moment in the wish fulfilled...it starts mental struggle..and that kind of trips me up and makes me feel i destroyed great sat session by doubting it

So how to go about your day after doing awesome sat session

greg5676twenty46004

bumped..get back into state

Assume what you want as true from that place remember when you used to

Then remember when the change took place and how wonderful it is from then

Use good day also

Thanks yash7

when you notice this sort of stuff..

" its hard to have the same 100% belief at that moment in the wish fulfilled...it starts mental struggle"

realize you have been bumped.. stop right then, don't waste even one more second and get back into state..

every single time

noticing you're not coming from the end.. and not doing anything about it..

that is creating more of whatever you are feeling as true other than your chosen state... why notice it and not do something about it?

As soon as you notice mate, CELEBRATE you noticed - and move back into your chosen state......

i walked around being an Aussie Citizen - Puppy Dad for years.....

And one day....

and on another day....

I became a citizen....
