STICKY FRUIT COCKTAIL TART (Old Favourite)
2 cups Self Raising Flour 1 and a half teaspoons Baking Powder Half teaspoon salt 1 large tin of Fruit Cocktail Half a cup of water 1 cup sugar 2 Eggs 1 and a half teaspoon Bicarb
Beat eggs and sugar well. Add fruit and juice. Mix well Sift dry ingredients into mixture and work in well. You can add some water if it is too stiff. Grease Pie dish. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.
TOPPING 1 Cup Sugar 1 Tin Ideal Milk 3 to 4 TBS Butter 1 tsp Vanilla Essence Half a cup Coconut (Optional) Melt all ingredients in a pot. Cook for 5 minutes.
Pour sauce over tart as soon as it comes out of the oven. Serve with cream or ice-cream and ENJOY❤️
